Summertime is about cookouts, and fun. Or for some people anyway it is.

Summertime, summertime, sum sum summertime........

It's officially summer here and that means both heat and rain. And heat and rain mean humidity as well.
The good news is that it also means some great days for riding, and after the rains the sky is beautiful.
But take care on the roads, they can be slick around here.
Trying to stay cool is tough, but Stormy Hill Harley-Davidson does have  solution: chiller headbands, and Hydration vests. Both of these will keep your head and body cool and are light and easy to pack and carry.

June is here already

Seems like the year is just flying past here at Stormy Hill Harley-Davidson.
Hopefully you had a chance to come out this past weekend for our 11th anniversary party, it was a good time. Thank you to everyone who came out, and to everyone who has helped us be here for 11 years.
So another Summer is nearly here,and with it things like barbecues, road trips, and lots of time on the road.
If you're going to be riding a lot, be sure to have good eye protection. You'll want to to have  good set of goggles, and ideally a spare set (things happen, after all).

Memorial Day

Memorial Day weekend was great: the weather gave us all a chance to get out and really enjoy Florida before the summer heat and tourist crowds kick in.
If you're planning a road trip yourself, be sure to have your bike serviced properly, and check your gear: your jacket may need some looking after and maybe you need new boots or a new helmet.
This coming weekend we will be having our 11th Anniversary party on Saturday, the 1st of June, and then on Sunday, you can join the Hospice Ride For Angels. Its a fun ride in support of a great cause.

Details are still being worked out, but if you're photographically creative and want to showcase your work and compete for prizes, keep and eye out here for more details.
August 3rd we will be having the first Stormy Hill Harley-Davidson photo contest.

Memorial Ride, and some upcoming good things

The Armed Forces Memorial ride on Saturday was great, thank you to everyone who came out and made it a great event.
The weather perfect for a ride and the event at the cemetery was quite nice.

In honor of Memorial Day this  coming weekend, Stormy Hill Harley-Davidson will be closed on Monday, the 27th, but we will be open regular hours again on Tuesday.

Coming in June is Fathers Day. Don't forget your father, he obviously wants something Harley. Tools? Clothes? A new bike? Treat your father to something good. If you are a father...treat yourself to something good.

Mothers Day was great, can't beat the weather we had. Hope everyone had a chance to get out and ride, and take care of their mother on her day.
Coming up this Saturday is our Armed Forces Freedom Ride, from Stormy Hill to Bushnell National Cemetery. Should be a good ride, with lots of folks coming along.
